well i got my GOT PROPANE kit and installed! i'll do a quick overview of how i got it installed. well first the kit, it has everything you need to get the job done, except the tank. i picked mine up for 150.00 plus propane, here in utah propane is 2.50 a gallon, much cheaper then gas! i then started by taking of the carb, gas tank and all the other crap that is no longer needed, here are a few pics of everything that i took off. this is the mixer, mounted on the old carb base, this is the regulator, this was the hardest part for me because i don't have a welder so i had to use a mount already there, and a little piece of sheet metal to mount it, but it works. these are the water lines that go through the regulator, ya just split the lines and run them over. this is the solenoid, and filter that come from the tank to the regulator. The solenoid had two wires, one is a ground, the other power, you can hook it up to anything that turns on with the ignition. this is were i mounted the tank, on the bed, you can see the hose going down through the bed, there is a pressure relief valve there as well. this is the under sid of the bed. this is a pic of the engine bay after everything was installed. well, after its all installed i checked all the fittings made sure they were tight. i still haven't tried to start it, i'm waiting for a buddy to be here just in case i need some help. i will update it as soon as i get it going.

well she fired right up with just a couple pumps of the throttle, i had to adjust the throttle cable a little to get the idle right but she is really smooth, no flat spot! well worth the money!

Nice work! Where did you get the kit from? The ones I've seen were like around $800. Also how much did the tank cost you?

Thats sweet dude, How is the fuel efficiency compared to gas? As my daily driver and offroad vehicle, in the long run would it be cheaper?

I know several people that run propane, and love it. Downside is, their trucks stink big time.
