I have a 92' Xtra cab v6 yota. It currently has a trailmaster ifs lift and a 3" body lift on it. It runs 35's with no issues. I'm wondering how to get more lift without having to do an Sas. It's not a hardcore offroad rig but it does see the mud every once in a while. I wanna run 38's or 38.5's (cause there what I have laying around..haha) I dont know what all is included in the trailmaster lift..I read about ball joint spacers giving like 1.5" of lift, but I also read some lift kits already include them. Just lookin for ideas on wht to do with the ifs for more lift, on a mostly street vehicle...any ideas? Maybe ball joint spacers and cranked t-bars? with shackles in the back?

I don't do much IFS lifting other then cutting it out and doing a SAS to it, but I believe that the largest lift you can get for an IFS is 6". I did hear about someone modifying a kit to get more out of it.
Anyhow try checking out Total Chaos.

i got a 92 with ifs. . all you can do is six inches on suspension.. and a body lift. . if you want big tires you gotta change your gears if its the 22re. . im in the process of doing that now so i can fit bigger tires on it.

New here n still trying to figure how to post. I bought 95 4runner with 3in body lift, 33s on it, was told 33s with prematurely wear out front end components to the tune of replacement once a year. Is this true? Can anyone tell me. I would like to put atleast 31s on it to justify the lift n maybe 32s. Also..turbo add on for 22re. Advantages/Disadvantages?
