Hi all, I have a Surf 1991 V6 auto. Am I correct saying it has a chain drive transfer case? Because in another thread I asked the same question and RCT replied to me immediately saying it's chain driven but I had said it was a truck not a Surf! Now my question is: I am now running 29" tires on standard gearing, which I think is 4.11 in the diffs. What gearing do I need in the transfer case (low range only) and diffs so that I get a 55:1 final drive on low range in first gear? I still need the normal (high) gear for everyday road use. www.sky-manufacturing.com/gearing1.htm are displaying a transfer gear which apparently replaces the original one in the stock transfer case and changes only the low range gear. Anyone knows anything about it? Did I understand it properly? Thanks Dave
