i just bought an 88 pickup 4x4 and i want to tow it to windrock which is about 10-15 miles away a full size trailer seems like overkill plus i have no place to keep a trailer but a tow bar would work well for me but i'm concerned about towing a 4x4 with one. i don't know if it matters but ihave manual hubs

Make sure the front hubs are free, disconnect the rear drive shaft, and your good.

thank you. I will go and buy a tow bar sometime this week when i get off then. Hopefully i'll remeber to take some pics.

Make sure the front hubs are free, disconnect the rear drive shaft, and your good. And key in the ignition so steering wheel is not locked. |
