I was wanting to get some more advice on some rim/tire combos. This is currently going on my 2000 chevy which has a 6 inch lift. I was running 16x10 rims with 33x14.5 tires. Had a blowout and bought 16.5x12 rims with 33x14.5 tires on it. Rather than the swampers I have on it currently. Been wanting to get some bfg all terrains in 33x12.5 on my 16.5x12.
I know it can be done as I have seen 12.5 tires on a 14 rim before. My truck is just a daily driver for college and to drive on the beach at the dunes not the actual dunes so I am not worried about having to air down. So my question is should I get the bfg 33x12.5 on my 16.5x12's or should I stick my wallet out further and get the 33x14.5 ssr's? Its a couple hundred dollar difference and was wondering what advice people could throw at me. Thanks a lot.
