my bud got a 94 yota with the 22re we replaced the timing chain cover and ect. the problem now is when he goes to start it, it ggoes click click click and it's been so long sinced i've worked on one what do you guys think starter solnoid possibly? any help would be appreciated.

It could be the brushes need replacing.Check out Roger Brown's 4crawler he sells rebuild kits.Check the Links section of the board.

Yeah also make sure all of your connections are good not loose the battery terminals for sure they may have some corrosion also make sure the battery has enough juice just some stuff to try 4 free
