I have been working on a project 1995 Toyota Tacoma single cab 4x4 with a 2.7 4 cyl. 5 speed. When I bought the truck at a police auction for $700.00, it looked like someone had tried to outrun the cops in it and loss in it. The drivers side front axle was missing and many other issue with it. I recently have it 75% completed. My Main question is, I recently bought replacement WARN locking hubs to replace the rusted old hubs it had. I also replace the missing driver side front axle. When I tried and install the new hubs, the bolt & washer that were on the end of the passenger side front axle was too short plus, I had purchased one from NAPA that was the same size but when I tried to put the screw in it was also too short. My friend that is a novice mechanic said that I should buy a longer bolt so the axles will tighten up next to the hubs. I need to get this truck on the road soon. any advice on this bolt axle issue would help.
Sincerely,
George From Texas
