Hey guys new to the site found a link over on Pavementsucks.com Anyways I've got a 99 Tocoma 2.7L 4x4 I'm using as a daily driver right now. It actually belongs to my father, but since he picked up a '07 Rav4 and Diesel is $4.70 a gal. he's been letting me DD it and let my Cummins sit. Problem is my father is the worlds worst on preventative maintence, and the poor truck has 187K on it. I had a mechanic friend change the fuel filter the other day because I haven't had time and it was the orignal! Anyhow I'm having some issue's I need a little help resolving. One is I'm getting very little cold A/C in the cab even with the blower motor on high, and it must stay on high to get any cold air in the cab at all. The blower motor appears to be working fine from 1 through 4, the recirculation door opens and closes properly, the vents all appear to change back and forth freely, and its full of freon? I'm really stumped on this one? Next is CEL/Codes Ok had a mechanic friend look at truck he pulled 5 codes off the computer. PO0402 EGR Flow Excessive PO440 EVAP emissions control system malf. PO441 EVAP Emissions purge flow fault PO446 EVAP Emissions vent circuit malf. PO770 shift solenoid E malf. I don't understand why it would even through a shift solenoid code the trans shifts perfectly. I need help understanding the other ones though, and how do I go about fixing them. Any at all is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Start by resetting the ECU.To do this you can either remove the EFI fuse for 15 to 20 seconds or disconnect the battery for a few minutes. When and if the CE light comes back on have it scanned again. This will help in finding which codes are an actual problem or just a temporary glich.
