I have a Tacoma TRD 2002 4x4 stock. I live in norther rural Utah and am riding on rock, and long dirt roads with washboard daily. I am looking into replacing my new front shocks without spending a fortune. I have heard Ranchos are good. Overall I do not know much about this. What would anyone who knows recommend for shocks that will last a long time and keep the wear and tear off of my truck? Any other alterations for a smoother less impact ride without going overboard?

The ranchos are alright for that price range also look at some of the bilstein shocks they are not that bad either.

some dont realize this, but I was touring the rancho plant and found that the pro-comp shock is the same thing as the rancho 5000, just not dressed up and is half the price....

bilstein. I tried pro comps but found them way too stiff.
