Well I finally did it. Rolled the Yota. Fortunately I had recently added the Trail Gear DOM front bumper. I was going up a mild trail in the middle of the night, got to the top and there was no trail going down. Damage was minimal, sort of. I trashed the hood, the driver's side fender, the sub body under those parts, and the steering column shaft in the cab(from hitting it with my body). The driver's side rail on the flat bed and the tool box. Fortunately the cab itself didn't even get a scratch. I already bought a new hood and fender for less than $100. I need to weld the sub body and sleeve the steering shaft. The only part I have been having a heck of a time finding is the headlight door for the driver's side. It's the bezel around the light and includes the parking light(which is now my turn signal as well). If anyone knows where I can get my hands on one of these let me know. Toyota has discontinued these and I can't find it anywhere on the net. Also if you know if I can convert it to an earlier setup with the round headlights using the headlight housing and the headlight doors for an 79-82 let me know. I was about to Durabak the entire body, glad I hadn't gotten to that yet or I would have been doing the hood and fender again.

The headlight buckets and doors are available on EBAY. I found them by searching for Toyota truck parts. I'm gonna switch my 83 to round eyes, I think they look better.

Yeah the older round headlight setup seems to be easy and cheap to find, but for some reason you can't find the square doors on ebay or anywhere else. I originally bought the doors on ebay two years ago and there were plenty of them then. I am trying to stay with the square lights to keep it looking like an 83, but if I can't, I wont cry about it.
