Thanks in advance for any help anyone can provide. This is not my first time lifting a truck but it is my first time doing anything with IFS. Everything has always been a solid front axle and a GM truck.
I recently purchased an 89 4wd xcab with a v6 and manual tranny. I kinda like the truck.
I have a 85 chevy k-10 I built a couple years ago as a show truck and have since lost interest in it. It does however have a set of baja claw 16.5/15-15 tires on it now that I would like to keep.
I am trying to figure out if the wheel and tire combo will fit and how much of a lift I will have to do to make them clear without any rubbing issues.
So far I have come to a 4"ifs lift, 2" lift shackles in rear 1.5" bj spacers in front and a 3" body lift.
If that setup does not work I am also considering swapping to k-10s axles on the toyota but that is at an extreme as then I will have to junk a nice truck.
Thanks again.

Rancho makes larger millimeter size torsion bars that will add lift. I had a buddy who had a 91 with a 4" sus. lift, 3" bodylift, Rancho torsion bars, and bushwacker cutout fender flares. He was clearing 39.5x18x15 boggers on I believe 15x12's might have been 15x10's. The yota rearend didnt like it with 5.29 gears. He went through 3 rearends in a short amount of time. But he was very rough on the truck.
