So I have a 96' tacoma and I have had a 3" suspension lift on it for a while now. I just purchased some 33x12.50 mtr's and I love them but I have been rubbing pretty bad. I am saving up parts for a sas but in the meantime I think I am gonna put on a 2" body lift. I was just wondering if anyone else with a tacoma has put on a 2" body and how it went? If you like it or if you ran into problems with it? I can't find much information on whether a 2" lift requires longer gas filler neck or not as well as a few other odds and ends like the steering linkage and extending the shifters. I don't have a problem modifying parts to make them fit im just trying to find out what I am in for. Thanks in advance.

Definitely buy the kit from Roger Brown(4crawler) the only modification I had to make was I had to cut in half the backing plate where the fuel cap is so the the fuel door would still lock if you don't have the locking fuel door you can just remove the plate or add a very short extention to each their own.I said f-it and just cut it and called it good. The reason for using Roger's kit is that they are the only kit that the pucks are a perfect fit to the mount plates unlike all the other kits out there.
