is it ok to run 4.88 gears on 33's and or the 4.88's low enough to turn 37's?

If you have a 4 cyl/5 spd, 4.88 is perfect for 33's.
For 37's you're looking at 5.29 or 5.71, again for 4 cyl/5 spd. Other combo's may be different.

oh ok, thanks so much. if i were to run 5.29's on 37's would that be ok o run on the highway or is that based on off road use only?

Sure, highway's fine, main thing there would be how well your tires are suited for the highway.
