You can run a 3" suspension with the stock arm, so running a 6" suspension with a 4" drop arm shouldn't be a big deal.
More than likely you did away with the torque rod when you installed the lift, and that would be the main source of your bump steer. (The torque rod is that dogbone that connects between the top of the axle housing and the frame. It's job is to prevent bump/brake steer)
Get an adjustable TR or lengthen your old one.

But of you still feel you need more then instead of bending the arm you can flip the ball on the arm from the bottom to the top. Just grind the the weld down and use a BFH and a heavy rod to knock the ball out of the end of the arm then knock the ball back in on the top of the arm and weld it up at the bottom.

I have a 6in NWOR lift with 4in superlift ( I think) adjustable drop drag link. the set up works fine for me at this time. I did get the torque rod relocator bracket from NWOR which keeps the truck from brake steer. I have no bump steer at all even with no steering stabilizer in at this time. I flipped the ball on my steering arm but I don't like it.
you could flip the ball as DEADLY said but you will have to adjust the drop link almost all the way in. that's the only reason i don't don't like it. if you have more than 6inches of lift than i think flipping the ball is needed. if you took the torque rod out I would say that's why you have the bump steer. I would put it back in with the bracket from NWOR. you will need to loosen the u-bolts on the axle to get the rod bolt in. good luck!

fliping the ball on it sounds like what i need to do. the drop drag link is the ajustable one and it is at a steep enough angle that it lightly touches the springs with the bottom corner of the link. ill post a pic ASAP. when you turn the wheel it clips the u bolts. i did remove the dogbone rod because it was too short and i did know what it was for but this is really bad even with the stabaliser on. when i had a mopar 360 in there it squated the suspention 1 to 2 inches and i didnt have nowhere neer the problems. i have a 302 ford in it now and its all over the place. a bump,hole stopping and floring it it gos one way or the other.

The other option available is to go to crossover steering. It will require some welding, sourcing an IFS steering box, and buying a hi-steer kit, but will almost totally erase brake steer. Several companies make the necessary kits, or you can buy some of the parts and fab the rest yourself. There are a couple of different designs to choose from, but they accomplish the same thing.

ok im doing the ball flip this weekend if the weather holds, ill take before,during and after pic's. i want to do the Xover but im changing to a 44 later this summer. ill do pics of that too. thanks for the input, i found good instruction and pic's of every step. looks easy.
