I have 93 toyota 4x4 22re and just replaced my head gasket and timing chain. My problem is that after putting everything together I have one electrical connector that I cant find where it plugs into. I bought the truck with the head removed and all the wires/hoses disconnected and not labeled. I managed to find where all the wires/hoses go other than that one connector. It is located on top center near the valve cover and looks like a connector that goes to the injectors. Is there supposed to be a spare connector? Need help.

It could be for the cold start injector. That sits in the upper part of the intake.

Another option is to see what color the wires are going to the plug and get a wiring diagram and see what its for.

I have that same extra plug on my 92 4x4. I have a factory manual and I spent hours looking through wiring diagrams, trying to figure out the same thing. I talked to the Toyota Dealer,he stated it has to do with - Federal - canada -califorina Emission standards, that the same wiring harness is used.

Thanks for the help guys but I think whomadewho is correct. I finally finished putting everything together and it started right up. I have another question though, I started a new thread. Thanks.
