So i got an 87 toy 4runner and recently i had to change a hose that went from the throttle body to the turbo becuase it wasn't letting me accelerate or would die because it was kracked. Now i've replaced it and once i hit about 40mph the rpms surging and gets worse if im on a fwy. I've done a tune up, cleaned the throttle body and even messed with the idle screw, checked for leaks in vacum hoses, but nothing seems to get rid of that problem. I also notice that the chilton book i have seems to have a different vacume line diagram than what is already there, and it's been the same since i got the truck with no problems prior to this. So if anyone has any suggestions, or maybe a link where i can find the vacume diagram for my truck, it would greatly appriciate it.
