I want to look into swaping out the front for a strait axle. Anyone have an idea of what it would cost? I don't have the tools to do it at home So it's going to be a shop deal.

You are looking at just over 1000 for a front kit, plus whatever you pay for your donor axle. Installation will probably cost around 1000. For an inexperienced installer with tools its under 15 hours work. For some experienced and having the right tools they could likely cut that time to well under 10 hours.
As far as not having the tools to do it at home, what tools? I didnt have a welder when i put the first SA in my 4runner so i had a shop install the front hanger and shackle tubes well in advance. After that its all cutting tools, i used a 4.5"angle grinder and a sawsall, and basic handtools. You could literally do the job with 100 dollars in tools from a discount store.
