Hi all just a new guy here in the market as it were. Looking into an 86 4Runner. Found the site and figured I would try and check reliability issues and offroad capabilities before I actually go and buy this thing. Will add a pic if I get it.

Well if I can ask any questions guess I should go for it lol
1 Is there a search feature, and if so where is it? 2 Is there a fnder cutting DIY on here for front and rears, maybe with before and after pics/. My fenders need trimmed or replaced. 3 with low cash what would you do first to a stock 4runner (86) 4 is there a DIY section devoted to 1gen trucks on here?
I will have tons more but will put them in the appropriate section

At the top of the page is a row of half tires. The third one form the left looks like this No. But I'm would think that someone on here might have some pics for ya.
Not much to this one, but here's one from 4-Wire that might help. Depends on what you plan to do with it. No, other then under Toy Tech there's the '85 & Earlier Trucks & 4Runners forum. But at the top of the page is a row of half tires. The one on the far right has a drop down menu. Go to Articles / Toyota Project Center and Toyota Info & FAQs. Ther'es some info in both of these that might give you some ideas.

You dont live to far from me, Plymouth, IN. I would do a 3'' body lift with a set of 33" tires and maybe a locker in the rear for starters. Those are the first mods I did to my truck and it was quite a capable rig, it impressed a lot of people. Then maybe some more flexy springs for the rear. nissans or something.
