I looking into putting lockers in my 85 toy p/u. I have 4.88 gearing and want to know which locker is better for me. The Lockrite or Detroit. I mostly off-road in soft sand or mild mud conditions. No real rock crawling.

They're both about the same, but I believe that the Detroit is built better

Out of those 2 I would go with the lockrite, its cheaper. Or a Aussie locker, i have been beating mine for about 5 years and its been good to me.
