I just got a Chevy Dana 60 front end today. I was planning on putting it on my 86 4Runner and I am trying to figure out how to fit it under. Has anyone done the conversion to a Dana 60 that could give some advice? Any pictures of your conversion would be helpful too.

best I can offer is a guy I see around town with dana axles on his hilux... (I live in san antonio). if you want his # pm me, he runs a shop here in town called "off road ready" its relatively new. otherwise you'll have to register with saoffroad.com and you can find him under the "vendors" section.

I just got mine in before the snow flew in fall. I had a friend make up the wider front drop hanger based on my original All Pro hanger and bent rear shackles like you buy from sky. He does super nice work and my shackles look as good as skys, doesnt hurt that he has access to all the right metal working equipment. Still have to get the steering done, ran out of time. First time i am forced to work outside so i have to wait another month or so for the snow to be gone to get going again.

Nice thanks for the help and the pics. I think I am going to start with leaf springs in the front. It seems like the easiest way to go. Plus I blew all my money on the axle. Currently I am working of cleaning up the axle and changing out the gearing. I am thinking this summer I will be installing it.
