Hey ya'll got a problem thats about to make me go plumb crazy A few days ago my 95 2.7L tacoma starting losing power and eventually start to backfire through my cold air intake. The truck idols a little rough and does fine floored but when i'm tryin to maintain speed it acts like its about to drown and die... I've just changed plugs and wires, checked vacuum leaks, and added fuel treatment.. ANY IDEAS??? Preciate it.... Oh by the way.. i've noticed when my MAF sensor harness or the module beneath it gets wet I kinda have the same problem only this time its completely dry..

Have you checked the exhaust system? The converter or muffler could be restricted.

Backfiring thru the intake can be due to timing advanced too far, or running lean due to mixture setting or insufficient fuel.
