ok guys really hope you can help me. here is what my truck is doing. the weather outside is bout 60 degrees and raining hard when i drove my truck the other day it fouled a plug so i went and bought a new set of plugs and wires. after putting them in all my plugs are getting fire and i know there hooked up in the right order but still my truck is running sluggish like i got a plug fouled. when you hit the gas it doesnt rev fast while in neutral like it revs up really slow. and it has somewhat of a miss to it so i had decided to put some fuel stabilizer in it thinking maybe the truck has sat for a while but still no help i just got the truck and when i brought it home it ran great.. when i put new plugs and wires on it.. it was acting as i described so i tyhought maybe fuel stabilizer would help so i drove it around a bit now it has started pouring the rain and my truck will start just a second a sputter back out... any help or ideas would be highly appreciated...

Check the distributor cap - May have gotten wet,or may be cracked. Krylon makes a ignition sealer, spray the inside and outside of the cap. You could also have a bad ignitor, which causes the timing not to advance. To check the igniter -Hook up a timing light and check to see if the timing advances. You may also want to check the compression.

ok its an 89 5speed stock motor with 33 12.50s and fuel injection i checked distributor cap and all that... but the truck has been sitting a while before i got it so pulled my fuel filter today and it was terrible the gas has been in the tank a while... everyone is telling me my injectors need cleaned i had one guy tell me to take them out and try letting them soke in sea foam over night and then spraying them down with eather and then washing it off with gas...could this possibly work and how hard of a job is this?
