i have seen many different companies with many different upgrades from chrome moly to more splines, rings to help sturdy the bell, what is the best for all around performance. what are the prices and then the level of difficulty to install. and also to fix on the trail if failure does happen. My truck is 4cyl on 38" boggers 529 gears and 5 spd tranny. Thanks I'm on my third set of axles and getting tired of changing them.

The longfield 30 spline super set is the benchmark that all others are measuring themselves against. Make sure you buy the hub gears to go with them.

Yeah, just buy em and stick em in. Some times you may have to do some grinding inside the "ball" of the axle, as the Longs are slightly larger than stock. They suggest you but their hub gears too.

I've installed Longfields last summer(30-spline ), and they're IT! Just ordered 2 more sets for some Dudes who's bored with changing birfields .
