Hey guys I am having alot of trouble deciding what kind of tire to go with on my truck. Its a 92 pickup with a small block 350 and a camaro tranny its got 4 inches of lift and another 3 inches of body lift. it currently has super swamper SSR's on it but they are a little pricey. i would like to stick with a 35 but for money reasons that might not be possible. i found the baja claw in a 35 for under $200 but the mud grappler only comes in a 33 that would fit and is $250. Is it really worth spending the 50 extra bucks for the mud grappler?

I have no experience with either, but I do have the SSR's and love them, mine also in 35. I have seen both tires you speak of and it seems to me that the grappler looks to be an agressive tread that would not wear to hot on the road. The baja claws seem to look like they would wear the best. I would stick with the baja claw, its a 35 like you want and it looks to wear better than the grappler. THis is just my opinion, maybe some guys will comment that have experience with these tires. Good Luck!
