I have an 87 4 Runner, 4cyl, 5 speed. I went wheeling last Sunday and got the right front in some water. It wasn't comming into the floor board. When I came out of the hole it sputtered for a second or two then ran fine. I checked my air filter later that day and it was wet, so I replaced it. Well yesterday I was going down the road and it started missing BAD. I ran comperssion and have 120 on all four. I then checked for fire and I have fire on all four. Then I checked the injectors with a noid light. Cylinder 2 and 4 are dead. they both have power but are not getting a signal ground. I'm thinking Ive smoked the ECM. Any one have any input on this? Also does any one know where to find an ECM for my truck? I called all the local part stores and salvage yards to no avial. Any help would be greatly apperaciated. Thanks Bill

You should have well over 150 psi for compression on each cylinder. Maybe another issue. As far as the dead cylinders, there is an injector resistor that has two leads off of it, each is for two cylinders. That mounts under the hood so that possibly got toasted.
