I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma sr5 w/ TRD package. 4x4 and 3.4L V6 upgraded suspension, cold air intake, new exhaust. little work done to it. i had 31x10.5 r15 tires on it til i HAD to get new ones. bought a set of 4 BFGoodrich A/T KO 33x12.5r15 from a performance store that were just giving them away for 125 bucks altogether. they fit and everything but i have to take it easy on bumps and 4 wheeling cause they rub. i haven;t found a cheap lift kit to raise it so they don't rub. i preferably want Rancho cause i have Rancho RS5000 shock absorbers on the back and p.o.s Monroe struts on the front. had Monroe shocks on the back but they keep snapping when i climb over rocks. ( like i said i don't have much money). the Ranchos i have i really like. they ride good and haven't broke on me in an important situation. email me for any suggestions on lift kits. lowest lift i want is a 3 inch lift. really want a 6 inch lift. email is collins69420@yahoo.com.

You are probably going to have to do some cutting. I did some mild trimming on my 01. I run 2" spacers on the front, and longer shackles on the rear. I put some new rims on that have a much bigger backspacing that brings the tires out quite a bit. I am just in the beginning of my journey with this truck. I decided to go for the tires first(33 12.50/15 Super Swamper SSR's), do an extremely cheap lift and roll with it for a while until I was happy with my 83 truck. I have the Auto Hubs on mine that really don't like the front lift and buzz a bit. I suspect the spacers I got from All Pro are more than a 2" lift. The front coils hit the spindle when the front end drops. The factory shocks on the rear are too short. As for the tires, they will rub when I turn it to lock. I did a little trimming on the front bumper and the rear of the front wheel well openings that I think you will have less trouble with when using BFG AT's since they are smaller than the Super Swampers. I fully intend to go crazy with this truck but like you, I don't have the budget for it right now and I'm living with the problems. Beware of cheap 6" lift kits, they usually have a poorly made extended spindle that WILL break. A buddy put a Rough Country 6" on his FJ, he is on his 5th spindle, no heavy wheeling in it.

P.S. I put on a 2" Body Lift kit from 4Crawler, probably your cheapest route although I did have to put a short shifter on it to keep the tranny shifter from hitting anything inside.
