Well I have had a set of 40's and 3/4 ton axles D44 and D60 with a disc conversion, 63" Chevy leafs for the rear, hysteer and hydro assist. I have 44044's but I have a thought I have a set of 53" Chevy and I was thinking longer leafs the more flex right.? Well Iam going on with the 53 inch leafs. Hey does anyone have or had this set up and have Pic's ?

Wow its been a while! Well when I bought it It sat 35 inches frame to ground and stiff as hell! Had a bit of a wiring issue they even did it with painless witch turned into painful! But got it took care of Now I am wide I am now sitting 25 !/2 inches Iam liking these I did not have to do much to my drive shafts. Working on the front shackle mount My cheep a@@ reamer 19.95 grip t-handle reamer I moded it to work with air I did 3 holes and it could do more! My concern and pain in da a@@ just wont blead out the air. I ended up with 53in Chevy's in the front and 62in Chevy's rear.

Looks good so far. Are you planning on lifting it up more again or doing some body trimming for wheel clearance? Also are you planning on removing the rear shackles on the front springs since you put shackles in the front? If not your axle isn't going to be real stable. Plus one problem with shackles in the front is that your wheel will want to push away from the rock (or other obsticale) when trying to climb over it making so you loose some of your traction. Also on the front springs, it looks like in the pic of the side view the front shackles weren't on yet and your rear shackles are flat. It does look like they would have straightened out much from adding the front shackles (they are best at about a 15-20* angle). How do they sit now?

On the wide shot you sr have a keen eye! No they wher not on yet .I ll have to take another wide pic Iam about done I need to wire in my dual battery's and hook up the gas tank and weld the rear.

Looking good other then now it's too low ;D
Taking a look at the new pic of the side view I can see that what looked like a second shackle on the rear of the front springs is a hanger. I would have mounted it with the slope to the rear so that if any rocks or what have you hit it it will have more of a chance to slide over it instead of getting caught on it.
Is there any reason you decided to move the shackle to the front? Just curious cuz of problems with front shackle I mentioned before.

To low mmmmmmmmmm Now I just need bigger tires and more fender trimming!
The shackle had to go on the front do to drive line angles, Iam not comfortable with turning knuckles yet and money makes things happen . The hanger sits close enough to the cross member that it would have to be a skinny rock.
