May sound weird but I traded for a 87 toyota truck with no motor or tranny and transfer. I have a 86 with 35s all toyota . I want to build this other one just to play and I came across a 4.6 v8 ford and was thinking this may work but I dont know. I cant find any where this has been done  Any coments or advise |

Be the first person to do it, and write it up ! Dillon did this swap in a 2wd toyota maybe about 5 years ago...? and it was sick! The biggest issue is the exhaust.Dillon had to make the headers himself because the factory manifold/headers wouldn't fit.He had to route them around the frame.Dillon could do a third gear pull and smoke'em all the way down the road.Dillon has since pulled the motor and put it back into his T-bird then sold the truck to Rattlecan who has installed a different Ford motor.
