I just got back from the Con last night. Had a great time; no pics. Had one guy shatter his ring and/or pinion gear in his rear axle so he had to get towed out and at some parts at good slam to the tailgate at the same time. On the way out he also ended shattering either the hub or a birfield on the front axle just to make more of a challenge to get him out, but we did it. Then after saying my goodbyes and started heading down the road my truck started wobbling really bad. So I pulled over to see what it might be, to find that the Con hits back and cracked the my frame almost in half at the steering box and the front crossmember. I think only thing that kept it from going all the way through is the plate I had on the inside of the frame. So I headed back and to my posse to see if any of them had a welder. No go on that, but one did have some arc welding rod, but nothing else. So with two batteries, two sets of battery cables and three pairs of sunglasses I welded it back together enough to get me home. Started tonight cleaning up the welds and getting it ready to fully plate and reinforce the frame there.

So what trail(s) did you trash your frame on?Glad you got it and your buddies rig out.

Not actually sure on where I cracked it at, but there were a couple places coming back up from Bucks Island that I had to get a little aggressive on that might have got it started.
