hopefully not, but i dont have the cash for an SAS, and im piecing it together, but i would like a little more flex now, so could i get the 63in springs and put it spring under so it wont lift the back end so much? and i was going to get the ball joint spacers for the front so it would lift it the 1.5in but i would let teh torsion bars down and take off the bumpstops to get a lil more travel up front. is this doable? or just retarded

picture of said truck, would the chevy leafs raise it up too high for the front, and would putting it under the axle level it out. not much rock crawlin out here, mostly use it for trails and dunes

You could do it, just weld new perches on the bottom of the axle. The rest would be per the normal 63" swap procedure.

thank you, i appreciate the reply, from what i understand this is a no no for rock crawling cause it leaves something to get hung up on rocks, but, im out in the desert, so its mostly trails and sand, and it gets a massive amount of wheel hop, hoping this helps with that also

The only thing I'd be concerned with is if you're jumping it. Could be hard on the threads of the u-bolts.

How did it turn out? and as for the spring under set up pulling on the ublots, companies sell spring under kits and a lot of desert truck "pre runners " go spring under and possible c notch for more up travel.
