whats a trick on removing a stubborn stud out of an exhaust manifold vise grips ain't work'n

Use two nuts that have a washer base.put the fist one on washer side up then place the second one washer side down until they meet tighten them together then you should be able to break loose the stud.Sorry I can't explain it better but it's easy to figure out once you get started.BTW you don't have to use washer based nuts but they are easier to deal with in my expierence.
I just noticed the fact that you tried to use vise grips the method I described may not work if you trashed the threads.If this is the case you will be torching, drilling and retapping.

i tryed the double nut first but threads are gone so no go on that. well tap it out i go then thank you.
