Just the other day when I took off from a stoplight I noticed a vibration around the time i shifted into 3rd gear. It hung with me for about half an hour and then just quit. Since thin its been getting slightly worse and wont go away. Its not a terrible vibration, but its enough to steadly make the ash tray open. Funny thing is, when i let off the gas to coast or put in in neutral, it goes away. When im pushing the gas to gain speed, it gets worse. Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sounds like a bad u-joint.

That was my first guess, I went under there and found no slop whats so ever. I took the grease gun to them just for good measure. Actually sounds better, but the vibration is still there.

Have you dropped the driveshaft to inspect it? Next would be to check the rear diff(but there usually a noise/clunking involved) and to check the wheels for a bad wheel bearing.

I've seen bad u-joints that didn't seem bad when checked with the DS bolted on. Also, did you check/lube the slip joint?

Also was the slip joint ever removed after the DS was made? If it gets put back in the wrong position it can throw it off balance.

if your still having this problem check your transmission mount. Mine wore out and vibrated horrable.
