I can't vouch for them, but Oregon Engine Builders (or is it Rebuilders?) seem to have a good rep. I have read many good threads about them on various Toyota sites, and nothing negative.

here is the thing , i had my motor rebult , .oo30 over and the dumb ass who did it ,didnt put spacers inbetrean the head and the block.....i got too much oil preasher and it blew out the 3 rd cylender.......so i just want to start over with TAX REFUND COMING AND ALl.....

How about a low mileage motor imported from Japan? They are usually quite cheap. Actually, you might want to ask one of these "Japanese Auto Parts" shops about a diesel 4Runner/Hilux Surf motor while you are at it. It'll likely be a lot cheaper than a brand new motor and all the vehicles in Japan have hardly any mileage because they can only drive them for about 4 years before they are basically forced to dump them for export due to crazy high taxes on older vehicles. Besides, Japan is small, they don't often put many miles on a vehicle in 4 years, usually around 30K kms.
