I have read some of this site and a few other yota sites looking for information but I am brand new to all of this and I am looking for answers! First off, I bought a 1986 toyota truck long bed today and I love it. The downsides are that it is automatic and its 2wd. I have read that line before and the responses to sell it and by a 4x4 but it's not an option. I didnt spend too much and I sold my Jeep back in June and I needed something! This is pretty much going to be a daily driver with the occasional runnin it through the woods and mud during weekend. I AM NOT MADE OF MONEY!! HAHA im looking to lift it and get some bigger tires. I just want it to look good and ride good on the street and dirt. Im having a hard time finding the type of lift kits I would need because I feel like I am lacking information on the type of truck this is..ive seen22r chassis or something of the sort..and ill be honest I have no idea what that is. Finding parts seems to be difficult because of this so if anyone could clear up what I should be looking for when looking for parts/lift/tires that would be great! Attachments:

theres also spacers to give more room in the wheel wells for bigger tires as an option? If I were to buy say 33s and didnt lift the truck would that work or would the tires just be way to big?

I think 33's are going to be hard to fit on a 2WD truck even with a Body Lift and some sort of Suspension Lift. And a BL is going to be hard to find for your truck because of the automatic. The only one with a bracket for the auto trans that I know of is the one from 4Crawler.com. He has good products and service.

4Crawler also has some Ball Joint spacers you can use to lift the front end a little, and I think he also has lift shackles you can use on the rear suspension. If he doesn't have the shackles try BudBuilt.com.
