Idle

1993 P/U, 22re, 4x4, 5 speed.

The idle will be steady but usually idles high. If i turn on the heat or apply the brakes the idle will go down a little. The higher the air is on the lower the idle will be. Once the engine is warm it seems as though the choke might still be on.

Any help would be appreciated. TPS? MAFS?

Make sure the idle speed is in spec per the sticker under the hood. If it's higher than spec (like you describe) adjust it down.
Also check your coolant level.

Yeah, I know that mine does that if the coolant is low.
