Just got an 86 toyota 4runner. Although the top don't seem removable..looks like it was welded into place..OR..previous owner just took a toyota truck and welded a roof on then welded it into place and just called it a 4 runner..lol.. Attachments:

another pic of the ride. You can see that it lacks the seam (where the rear top comes off the truck) where the back would join the top of the truck..hence why I think this one was made and not factory. Attachments:

Roll cage..for one..lol..this has none of the roll bar stuff like you see on other 4runners..hence another reason I suspect this is not a true 4 runner..but she's gonna make a nice little Toy for me! ;D

No, it's not a 4Runner, it's a conversion. Kinda like the old Trekker conversion Winnebago did for Toyota on the 1st gen pickups before they came out with the 4Runner in 84.
