Hi guys.
I've found myself owning so many 2nd gen 4x4's and now a 1st gen 4Runner, that I simply must join a club.
So, here I am.
Just drug home a 1987 4Runner SR5, 22R-E, W56, with a bad tranny. 1st and 3rd are out, and it feels like it wants to slip from 2nd. Plus, it's whining a bit. Allegedly, the engine is rebuilt and it looks the part.
Not gonna ask any questions at this point. I know what I need to do: replace it.
Just sayin' "Howdy" and lettin y'all know your info's been helpful, so far.
