does anyone know where to find a diagram of the power steering set-up. in particular the hoses that lead into the main pump. my chilton manual doesn't have enough info info and I can't find sh*t online

Are you just looking for where the hoses need to go to? For a diagram you could try the FSM (download). I know none of mine have one, but they only go to 89.

i need to know if I am getting the right hose to replace the one that's leaking on my 4Runner.

The P.S. Hose on the pump which is located - next to the block - is attached to the back fitting on the sector (toward the bumper) The other hose on the pump (located toward the fender) - goes to the bottom of the Reservoir tank. The upper hose on the reservoir tank goes though the cooler and back to the front fitting on the sector (toward the steering wheel) This is for the STANDARD TYPE - The PPS system - This is where the reservoir is on top of the pump -The hose that is on the reservoir -(goes to the right side of the sector) -The hose on the pump ( Goes to the top fitting on the sector)

Forgot to mention - The hose on the pump (located more toward the engine) On the other end of this hose - There is a steel line that forms around the steering sector.
