My yota already had a lift to it and had the steal braided lines and I did not want to lose them so I took the toy line and the banjo line to the auto store and got a steal line with the correct fittings for both ends. You can kinda see what I did in this pic. I am a cheep a@@ so I make it safe and functional

ok all good now thanks for the suggestions. i did it buyremoving the banjo bolt and fitting. i used a flair fitting the same size as the banjobolt on a steel line and a toyota flair on the other end. the dodge side i flaird and braised it into place on the steel line. workes exelent no leaks.

OK long time but FYI don't waist your time making the 85 and older steering work you will hate it i did it and it sucks bad. X-over is a must if doing this swap mine wanders all over and has bad brake steer. also when sitting still you turn the wheel it will twist the axle and not turn the tires like axle wrap unless you are moving, but worse ha ha what fun when you drop a tire in a rut it will follow it no matter what you do. x-over is the only real cure.

The solid axle stock push-pull steering is barely adequate to begin with. Adding more than 3" of suspension lift is way beyond what it's meant to handle. Cross-over is a must.
