I have a 92' toyota pu ext cab, and the family has out grown the cab space, so I purchased a 92' 4runner and plan to swap the 4runner body onto the pu frame and chassis. Has anybody out there attempted this yet? Any suggestions would be a great help. Thanks and happy wheel'n.

Why are you switching Frames??? Is the runner anot a 4x4
Im Doing the reverse of you im gona put a pick up Body on a runner Frame
I already Have the frame its from a 84 with solid axle Would like the body of a 3rd gen pick up But dont know if the Mounting holes are the same as a 84 runner
I Know that the runner frames (1st gen. runners) have the same frame as a stander cab pick up, dont know if the 2nd gen runners are dif but your Frame might be a bit long Knothing a plasma cutter wont fix
Good luck post your project up so if any one in the future does this they can use you post as a gude line i guess??
