Hi all, Got a little question: Why does everyone seem to opt for leaf spring front SAS as opposed to 3 or 4 link, radial arms and coilovers? I know it's simpler to fit leaf springs and to set everything straight with them but is it just that and a money thing? Or is it better to have leaves instead of coilovers on the front with a solid axle? I have no highway driving here, there's my bike or her car for that if needs be, so I'm not really after high speed stability! Besides, I don't intend to go flat out racing either ... guess we all know that! Any input please? Cheers ...

$$$ and ease mostly. Some leaf setup can do just as good or close to as good as a link setup. If done correctly a link setup should be a better ride on or off the road.

Oh great. So it's not something that doesn't work ... I was kinda scared since I can't find any other factory/company doing them except what used to be www.offroadsolutions.com which now closed down! My fear was that it doesn't work properly, which is why it's not easy to find ready off the shelf and also thought maybe that's why ORS shut down! I'd rather go for the smoother ride and better offroad capabilities of coilovers!

I know this is a bit old but, since you're looking at coilovers and links you should take a look at my site and let me know if I have what you want. www.4wheelunderground.com
