im just wondering how much hp can a toyota transfer case handle before crapping out looking for big hp to turn 38+ boggers im told they can only handle 280 hp or so im looking to run 350sbc with 500+hp with 400 turbo trany with stage 3 shift kit was looking to maybe run the toy transfer case with dual transfer case for the low low gearing that you can get for them. yes i have a heavy foot but only like mud and hills. if i cant run that combo wat transfer case can i run that i can get dual cases with low gearing

How much money do you plan on putting into that 350 small block? Unless you have about 10-15k just in parts and a pro charger on top of it.... good luck getting 500 horse... Making 500hp on a 350 is very hard... And I would like to see the dyno sheets too if you say you can make 500 + horse. As far as the transfer case...many people do drop small blocks in their yotas and use the stock t case... I haven't heard of anyone dropping a 500 + hp small block into a yota and the t case holding up, but if I were you I would find a np 205 chevy t case...

The geared (and even chain) Toyota t-cases are quite sturdy, but I think 500hp is a bit extreme. An Atlas or other aftermarket case might be a better choice.
