i have an 87 toyota 22r and the engine blew. i replaced everything and put all of it back together. but it is still having problems. it will turn over but it runs really rough and i dont believe its getting oil to the top of the engine... any suggestions?

You might try removing the oil pressure Gage install a pressure Gage,to check and see how many lbs.of oil pressure the engine has. Another quick check - Remove the pressure Gage, disable the engine so it WILL NOT START - Turn the engine over and see if any oil comes out. This will give you a starting point and help isolate the problem. If no oil appears focus on the oil pump,could be an issue with the relief valve. This is a tough one to arm chair diagnose,there is a lot of possibilities.

It could be many things, and that's not enough info to work with. What exactly happened, what was replaced, what makes you think there's an oil delivery problem, etc ...
