my 98 taco has a miss when driving. its about 20 miles to work some times it will miss alot and then some days only a few. but idles great changed fuel filter, plugs, and wires. any ideas?

Have you double checked the gap for the plugs and double checked the plug wires? Sometime the new wires can be hard to lock on the plug(I've done this myself) Just trying to rule out the simple stuff first.But where you said it's idleing fine has me thinking something else. Like that the TPS on it's way out. Mine started missing then it would randomely stall out then it was fried. I'm short on sleep right now so I may think of something else later on.

checked the plug wires again they were fine next ill replace the tps hopefully this week. thanks for your help.
