I am starting to put my 81 together finally, have a few questions, read pretty deep in everything, did not find what I was looking for in some things, I am putting a trans and transfer out of a 87, the crossmember has to b rlocated I assume, does someone sell a kit or do I use the one allready there and just move it back, and does the rear leaf springs just bolt up, up front , never found the clearest answer, and how much lift do u get, before I pile a bunch of questions on here at one time , I guess I better start withe these, Thanks

Ok, I figured out on the crosssmember, I will build my own, but I still need to know about the rear leaf springs up front, the original question was, does everything just bolt rite up or is there a lot of fab work, and do I use the whole spring pack, I appreciate the help

No, you can't simply bolt the rear springs up front, they are longer. Also rears up front will move your axle about 2" forward, so you'll need x-over steering And you usually need to add another couple of leaves to the pack.
