Pretty much just another guy from Texas. I bought my first Toyota last July; an '06 Tacoma PreRunner DC 4.0 that has been a good truck so far. After going out to Bridgeport OHV last weekend I got a taste of off roading.

So while I was cleaning my daily driver I started looking around for a good cheap 4x4 to pick up for off roading. That landed me an '87 4Runner for $500 from a friend. Not bad for an old beater with a 22R-E that just needs an inspection.

So now the mods begin. Sliders have been ordered... other improvements are being planned.

Mainly I'm just going to lurk in the shadows here and pick up all the info I can. I found my way here by some guys sig over at Tacomaworld...
