Hello everyone, I am new to the 4x4 scene and I was looking into buying a Toyota but I have a kid.
I was wondering whats the best truck to get for occasional trail runs but still be safe to install a car seat in? I was looking into getting a '80s pickup but you cannot install a car seat in the back of any extra cab and my wife does not want me to fab anything to mount the car seat in so I am looking for one that comes factory installed already.
Thank You, Vince

The later x-cabs might have accommodations for a car seat, otherwise there's the 4Runner.

That depends on the kind of car seat you're looking to install. I have 2 kids and a '97 X-Tra cab Tacoma. I have 2 "booster" type seats with backs in the x-tra cab with no problem. If you had to put in an infant seat, you're going to have a tough time.
