Just had an old Detroit no-spin installed w/529's. The locker has never been installed before. sitting in box for over 10Yrs. Has anyone used one of this old style lockers in there Toy. just wanted to know because this thing really acts weird. I would just like to know the charistics of this older style Detroit.

well here iis a follow up! the shop that installed the locker and new gears did a half a## job! they did not TQ the bolts down to specs. anyways took it back to have them check things out and things where fine. well when i got it home i re TQ and lock tighted all bolts. some were still loose go figure! one thing this thing does is when you start to take off it will spin one wheel alittle. there is times it will let out a big bang when getting on it to get down the road! i cant beat it for $100.
