Got a 95 4runner, 3.0 v6, auto
Head gasket started with a slow leak grew worse, and put some blue devil in lasted me about 3 months with the blue devil and got bad again
got 198,000 on Odo. last time i know the head gasket was replaced was shortly after the recall. it DOES NOT have water in the oil.....yet. just leaking into the cylinder seems rings are holding.
do u guys think it is worth the time and expense to fix the head gasket or throw another rebuilt motor in.
reason i ask is I'm worried the pressure of a new head gasket on a motor with 198k might be to high for the bottom end. ( not sure if motor has ever been rebuilt)
any advice would be greatly appreciated.

A good rebuilt engine would always be nicer than a worn one ready for it's 2nd HG replacement. Make sure the warranty on the engine and on the installation is good. But the cost is obviously greatly different. A tough decision.
