So i have owned a 90 pickup and newer but i have a guy wanting to trade a 84 4runner for my 90 he told me the only problem with it is the tranny sticks out of the old trans wont fit in the new one is there two diffrent trans for the 22r or is there something sipile he is missing i am new to the soild axle yotas please help.

I don't understand what you are trying to say.
Perhaps if you tried it again with actual sentences your post would be understandable.

i am trying to buy a 87 4runner. But the guys that has it said the shifters out of the old tranny wont fit in the new trany

The older trans has a different shaped baseplate.

Can you tell us the specific models of the 2 transmissions? It's on the bottom of the VIN plate.
It's possible they could swap.
